Thanks for your work. It’s very difficult to find street-level accounts of life in Cuba.

I admire the fact that such a recent graduate (2007) has the integrity and ability to see and talk about the deceiving and oppressive faces of the present legal system in Cuba.
I sincerely hope you can inspire others and be part of a society with justice and compassion to all.

It’s really sad to see that Cuba is still the same and that people have to go on hunger strikes and die to make change. The government of today will have to pay for this when they are finally overthrown. I hope that day comes soon and that these criminals are brought to justice before they die. Viva Cuba !

I think the work you do is fantastic. As Cuban American (from Perth Amboy, NJ), who was born in Cuba, I am proud of you. Keep it up. I only wish to some day do as much as you do. You’re wonderfully gifted and talented. May God bless you.

I just read about your legal services on Ivan Garcia’s blog, and I continue to be impressed with the work you do, and your excellent writing. Muchos gracias.

I see many small ways that visitors and friends could offer some small support in these endeavours. For example, sponsoring an individual who cannot pay the costs of necessary legal processes. Or helping cuban friends navigate the process (which will surely be arduous) of accessing the new high speed connection that has recently arrived in Cuba.

These are small yet helpful things, and very possible for many of us who plan to return to Cuba in the next year.

The Cuban government has even announced that it will begin to allow micro-loans for agriculture this year. I would love to see somebody take on the task of extending kiva and razoo and other networks into Cuba as this becomes possible. It’s only a problem of personal connections and currency.

Please count me as one of your friends and supporters.
